Well that's not going to help freshen your breath #grocery #jokes #Shrek

The other day in Spanish class, I was called on with the question "What do you say upon meeting a stranger?" And let me tell you, the dual challenges of learning Spanish and navigating autism are really something sometimes.

I have discovered birb and I am now obsessed

https://birbplay.com/

I'm in some dungeon worlds fighting goblins with a trained parrot, having just freed a monster who was kidnapped from a castle. Meanwhile I have a red panda tending my nest and chopping my trees while a sparrow that undergoes mitosis collects popcorn for me in a field, and Dave collects it in a desert, as two seagulls catch fish on my behalf

ok which one of you owns this fine vehicle

to the joker they’re just a posse

"They tacked on [evil thing] so the villain wouldn't be so likeable" always seems like a silly critique. Yes if you took the villainy out of the villain they'd be likeable.

Often if you take the heroism out of the hero they're kind of a jerk!

And I think when its written, its the other way around. The villainous plan and the foiling of it are what you start with, and then you add flaws to the hero and redeeming qualities to the villain to make it interesting.

I tried to get my mind going for the day with a game and it kept stuttering and that is actively painful.

A game can be "bad" but it's never worse than a game that doesn't react to your inputs.

And now my mind feels even more thrown off and less able to focus, urgh

I think the worst and only sin a game can be is unresponsive.

This is how I want to always remember Patrick Stewart

In brighter news, it's funny to see google having a terrible earnings report, company that shouldn't exist polymarket being exploited for $2.7M, and then shady crypto exhange binance losing $6B.

Reading the many farewells to Sir PatStew here, I'm reminded of a different side of his: like many men his age, he grew up with a violent man in his home. He saw it, he suffered from it – and most importantly, he very deliberately chose a different path for himself. He broke the cycle, and for me, that's much more impressive than the final frontier – even though I have the best memories watching ST:TNG with my dad as a kid.

May the star dust rest lightly on you.

Waking up dazed and the first thing I read is that Patrick Stewart died :(

#Inktober Day 29: Tusk

We're just running on fumes now!

Is it close enough to #Halloween that I can re-up my werewolf porn now?

I hope so.

A customer came in and gave us a tiny knit acorn. Not beating the “i live inside an animal crossing village” allegations

didn't expect re-doing the account redirect to find that many accounts.

None of you shall escape my puns

We both tried the account redirect thing again and it's finally finding a few hundred missing people, our instance is error-ing out lol

After raising a complaint / details of a manufacturing defect to walkers, I will be "Sent reimbursement [to our address]" and I have no idea what form that is going to take.

There is probably a market for sculpted clay faces to do age verification with, right?

"Autism levels" makes it sound much cooler than it is.

Like if I grind out enough hyperfixations I can put skill points into new autism powers.

Level 1: You can't look people in the eye
Level 100: No-one may gaze upon your presence without permission.
