This is a snapshot of the inside of my brain. All of my artwork is. Welcome to the beautiful chaos.

The Smiling Sun was designed on the back of an envelope by 21-year-old activist Anne Lund in Aarhus. It's commemorated to this day in a landmark mural in the city centre.

Funny you mention wearing the logo on a rain-jacket. That usage was in her thinking. She's quoted in this article:

“It needed to be pretty enough for women to wear it on their overcoats to indicate a kind, but firm ‘no thanks’. No clenched fists, no scary images."

This is the Ty-ar-Boudiged dolmen, near Brennelis in Brittany - otherwise known as La Maison des Fées (House of the Fairies). It's about 5,000 years old and, unusually for this kind of burial chamber, still has much of the soil covering in place over its stonework.

A few evenings I found this toad standing guard at my front door or walkway. Maybe I should hang up a tiny “Beware of Toad” sign on the door to warn off intruders. #toad #animals #nature #naturephotography

:BlobhajTinyHeart:

Meta messing with Indivisible just as No Kings begins. SpaceX shutting down Starlink right when the Russians launch a deadly attack on Ukraine. Meta censoring Lula and promoting Bolsonaro days before the Brazilian election.

This is the future that big tech has given us. This is where we are today...

Went to the arboretum. 🍁 🍂 #autumn

I don't want flying cars.

I want clean water.
I want a stable climate.
I want bees to survive.

A hike through lichen jungles ...

Kind of thought, because of spooky season, this story would resonate more. It’s a Wikipedia entry, but it read like a scary story told around Halloween

There’s only a couple of spots left for this course. Snag one while you can
