I saw the light (or lack thereof) yesterday, and grabbed my camera and stepped outside, pretty sure I'd see the mother of all rainbows. But there was none. There was however, the darkest and brightest 'at the same time' moment I think I've ever seen. Extraordinary.

We are currently getting hammered by bots attempting to sign-up to both #MastodonAppUK and #Universeodon with over 500 attempted registrations across the sites in the last 24 or so hours.
We are seeing some performance issues at this time where we're still getting actively hit by these bots and we're processing a series of bulk rejections to stop the accounts signing up.
We have had to put some temporary additional measures in place which may impact legitimate users signing up, if this is the case an e-mail to our support mailbox should get the issue resolved.

No wonder I can’t afford - or even find the storage hard drive needed for my own photography.
Well I’m convinced. The president is right. Any community would be stupid to refuse allowing data centers with their airport levels of noise from jet turbine fired power plants puking particulate pollution, along with extreme water use and contamination, rising utility rates for all consumers, and decreased land values, so that the broligarchy can profit from inevitable and unstoppable progress of digital freedom to digitally molest young girls with artificial intelligence.

Strange flight path yesterday (10-OCT-2025) over East Lansing, MI(#MSU). The aircraft does appears to be transmitting ADS-B data but no call sign. It circled over this small area so guessing it was some type of RC aircraft(not a jet).
Checked back today and three prop planes are circling over near this area. Guessing they are dragging adverts behind them as I'm guessing its game day at MSU.

And that’s the trap: If your theory of change can’t survive contact with a committee hearing or a midterm electorate, it’s not a strategy. It’s a TED Talk.

"Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony."
