My (sort of real) name is Fionn, I am a queer poet from Ireland currently living abroad. My interests and hobbies include poetry, reading, librarianism, nature, cycling, art, anything creative really (not AI, however.) I write spec fiction, fantasy and scifi stuff (on its surface soft scifi but in actuality it varies) and I like queer, woke, disability rep, etc.

My current WIP series, now in 2026, is about a mage who ends up in a wheelchair and happens to intimidate everyone at her college!🧙‍♀️👩‍🦽✨ What's not to love?

I once played a very brief game of cricket in the Lovell Telescope (after a resurface but before it got properly tuned) because we wanted to recreate a scene from The Dish. We used a tennis ball to avoid damage. The Chief Engineer was wicket keeper. I'm bowling.
