Another random poll, on music. Although, not sure if this will be biased by the Fediverse specifically attracting specific kind of people.

The question is, how many people listen to music that they developed a taste for in their youth (usually high school and college age?), vs. later, vs. always changing?

(My music tastes drift constantly, but my extended family's taste in music is fixed and does not change, is why I ask.)

...and when I hear people talk of "climate anxiety" even that framing is wrong. I'm anxious about the failure of those with power to do what is needed. That's not so much anxiety about climate, that's anxiety about inadequate politicians and genocidal oligarchs.

The Cairngorms are still on fire after 10 days. My heart is breaking. After Arthur's Seat in Edinburgh too.

Fire services near Aviemore just cannot reach much of it by land.
