Anyone know what’s good for reversing a DOS binary? A debugger in FreeDOS? Ghidra? I want to find out the algorithm for something probably implemented in assembly and I don’t speak x86. I feel like @eniko might know off hand…

No, recruiter who hasn't actually checked my GitHub, I would not like to join your company's AI hackathon. I'd rather do something useful in my spare time.

Like look at #caturday pictures.

Hey @catsalad check out Frank ⬆️

#Caturday Frank likes Alpha Getti, despite its lack of food value.

Going through the candidates for Waterloo's municipal election: https://poliblog.jonkman.ca/Poliblog-Elections/2026-10-26-Municipal-Election/

EXTREMELY disappointed by the number of candidates who:

- only have American fascist big-tech sites listed
- don't even have email?! what year is this?!
- are on Twitter

Are these people unaware of what's been going on for the last few years? Has nobody suggested they set up a website? IN CANADA MAYBE?

Could someone pay me a living wage to code for #HaikuOS or something? Back to Atari ST?

#FuckAI

Feeling really depressed and anxious about my job and career today. Then I watched @Viss 's talk from Sec-T: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2LAgEQa6wo

Still depressed/anxious, but now with some "fuck it!" in there. 🤦

Friends don't let friends use passkeys.

They're not portable between "security devices".

Say you're moving from @1password to @bitwarden because 1Password supports fascists who want to ethnically cleanse Europe.

Passkeys don't migrate, and going through all of your passwords, then logging into each site to delete the passkey is painful.

A nice long random password, plus TOTP/OTP/"Authenticator" codes are best.

Hmm, the script editor doesn't seem to know about a Constants symbol, what's going on here...

I think I'm confusing an autoload singleton instance's name with my class name. 🤔

Maybe just Const or something.

Thesaurus provided Sacrosanct, which is great but too long. 😁

Update: Nope, Const is an engine global too. Consts?

Anybody got a good synonym for "constants"?

I was going to collect my game's constants into a Constants class, but Godot's already got one. Same for my Enums.

I could go with GameConstants or something, but that's mildly annoying; oh noes, four more characters to type/autocomplete! But also it's redundant and provides no information, and it's only there to work around the conflict with the built-in symbol.

Update: PEBKAC, disregard
