#PortfolioDay I do freelance recipe development and food photography, and previously worked as a pastry chef after culinary school.
I do everything from developing recipes from scratch for print magazines, to testing, styling and photographing family recipes for a personalized cookbook, to writing recipes for retail food and beverage companies.
I would love to get into more niche, creative work if anyone on fedi has a bespoke need for any sort of food-adjacent work. Games, cozy mysteries, food justice, fandom, kitchen witchery, zines, gardening, tea, and probably anything else you can think of. I know a little bit about a lot and love to learn new things.
I am currently available for small, one-off projects, and will be available for a larger project within the coming months.

I've been meaning to say this for awhile but a recent post reminded me so I'll do it now and pin it.
I will NOT be putting most food behind a CW. Not only is food my livelihood and passion (making my account mostly not for anyone who would need it, anyway) I am just sort of vaguely uncomfortable with it for personal reasons.
I DO always mean to tag it, though, and any time I forget a tag, I don't mind being reminded. Nor do I mind adding a specific tag for a follower if asked.
I WILL be CW'ing anything that could be considered disordered eating or about weight gain/loss, and am tentatively welcoming to broadening that definition if asked.
Regular reminder that "I don't see any prejudice here" is more a statement about who you choose to follow, listen to, and believe, than it is evidence that it doesn't happen here.
