The new semester started and this year I have added nine slides for my intro lecture in C++ about the use of LLMs when trying to get better at programming.

It's not on the slides but I may have mentioned the thing with fascist billionaires and pollution of our planet in my verbal commentary on the topic.

No ALT text for the attached PNG renderings of the slides. The text in the images is the text of the post itself.

This is a thread with my nine slides I presented yesterday.

Voyager has traveled 15 billion miles and still sent data and communicated by radio signal on 69 KB of programming but this one website tab is using 348 MB and we are totally happy with that sure this is fine.

Looking at social media posts today has convinced me that most people are very susceptible to brainwashing to the point that they justify massacres and killings. You’re worse than IDF and Hamas if you glorify the deaths of Israelis or Palestinian civilians no matter what the context is and who has the highest kill count.

There are always two sides of a conflict and I see most people being intentionally blind towards the other side here.

First they came for gas And I did not speak out Because I dont own a car

Then they came for eggs And I did not speak out Because I dont like eggs

Then they came for Whey Protein And there was no one left To speak out for me

Me today.

The past 2 months have been pretty tough for me because of my deteriorating health. I’m undergoing treatment but I’ve been very dysfunctional for a while. Can barely get my everyday tasks done.

I’m gonna take a break from FOSS contributions for a while to focus on my health. Might still do some work occasionally.

Also saw the Debian voting result and it doesn’t affect my stance about the project in any manner. I will continue my contributions when I feel better

What I’m holding in my hands are actual physical games that I actually own.

Fuck you Sony.

I’m increasing my physical game purchases just because you decided to kill physical media. Cancelled all of my plans to buy the next Playstation and will be only getting Nintendo consoles because they still support physical games.
