You were one OS whom I could rely on.
Allowing AI usage, makes it the last straw. Irrespective of who, how, what, when, or anything and everything, this step is going to come back in a very bad way.
I feel let down as not only an end user, but also someone who has always respected Debian and saw with the highest standards.
Not at all fair to the rest of the community.

I had a @Liberapay account earlier as well. Never had PayPal. Stripe is not allowed in India. Due to some reason I now have opened PayPal account and have my LP account activated and linked too.
I hope I get #funds #donations now for my various services being used by several people here and outside. It is really difficult to manage otherwise.

I am hearing the word #fdroid so many times and in literally so many booths here at #froscon2026. So glad that we are able to make a positive difference.
Even in #alternative #os booths people ask is #fdroid installable? Is it preinstalled and all. It is via #WayDroid of course.

Day 2 has begun. With the heat becoming too much, we expect the coolness of open source community to churn.

Day 1 went by pretty quickly. We had very interesting conversations with many of them.
Some asked about how to get their apps added, how to contribute, how to fund and some even asked if they could get tax benefits via donations (last one I too am not sure of). Most were coming and discussing about the stuff that #foogle is doing, which is still a very hot topic.
I learnt a lot from the others present. It was all in all an eventful day and waiting for day 2 now.

People have no respect, no courtesy, no common sense. Am at a doctor's clinic right now and every patient who is waiting is playing either insta or some video with high volume.
When I asked them to turn off the volume, the look they give is if I am the guilty one.

How does no one bother about LineageOS or other OS's. All I see is people writing the other OS's, as if ....
@LineageOS is real great. The only reminder of the great #Stefanie_Kondik creator of #CyanogenMod.
