@mononcqc I might feel like my entire job is turning into this if I didn't spend so much of my time in the sociotechnical glue space. Lucky for me, LLMs are horrible at training responders and running interactive games.
@dtauvdiodr there's a frustrating dimension to it when you keep hearing things roughly equivalent to "only product managers/managers/project managers/senior contributors' work ever mattered" out there, like the whole time it was just goodness of people's heart that kept people employed.
@mononcqc An aspect of this I'm experiencing is that the job begins to tilt away from doing things that fit my brain into things that do not, but my title is not changing.
It's like we are becoming "managers of SRE tools" instead of "operators that perform SRE".
