1. isn't run by assholes
2. doesn't engage with "ai" (and, if possible, actively opposes it)

They're a host who deals with new and continuing registration, and I love love love and 100% endorse the entirely human Tigertech.net.
They are based in the US, which is a deal breaker for some.
I've been with them for 26 years this month, and dozens of websites.
