I thought maybe he was snagged on something, and was able to pick him up and make sure he was otherwise safe. No visible injuries, but definitely a bit freaked out. Could be over heated or something, so we got a box, a towel, and a dish with some water. Then we called the animal ambulance (dierenambulance) to come get him.

Unfortunately, within about 20 minutes, the little guy died. The stress, some injury I can't see, or something else.
