The 13yo (well, 2 weeks shy of) wanted to watch the Backrooms film. The theatres are apparently sticklers about checking ages because laws or something. It's a 16+ film.
I informed the child of this but told him we could still watch it today if he wanted to.
"But how can we do that?"
I put my arm around his shoulder as we walked into the grocery store and said "Son, it's time we had a talk about piracy."
We picked up popcorn and drinks and went home to watch the film.

He was asking "but HOW do you download it?" and I'm in a produce section trying to decide how far to go with this description. "Well, I have radarr installed and that asks sabnzbd to pull all the files related to a film. Then those are automatically arranged into a program that Jellyfin can load.
Seemed like too much detail.
"I have computer programs that go look for what I tell them to. With no AI involved."
