About 25 years ago while on vacation, my father-in-law invited me to join a weekly morning bike ride on a local rail trail. A group of about 30 retirees would ride 10 miles to a small town for breakfast and then ride back. I was impressed by how fit all these “old people”were, especially a fast 84-year-old guy who had heart surgery a few decades before. Today I rode that trail for the first time since my own surgery and was inspired to follow the example of the 84-year for the next few decades.

One of my big gripes about Mastodon is that although they want to be all about the people, there is no way to provide feedback or bug reports except via GitHub—which is very much not for the average person. Yet, they lament the lack of growth in the platform.

If any of you are fluent in GitHub and have a few moments, please pass this sentiment along. We need a non-expert way to provide feedback. Thanks.

Abdul El-Sayed believes in separation of church and state and has no desire to impose sharia law. Mike Rogers actually voted when in the House to impose his religious views on others in restricting reproductive rights.
