Wow.
Thousands and thousands of people turned up. Turning up for human rights, for the environment, for the animals.
Turning up to imagine a better and kinder society that we can create together.
Delighted to share the stage with Juliet Gellatley - founder of @vivacampaigns
I'll take "Tacky shit the next POTUS throws out on Day 1" Alex!
📣Ladies and Gentlemen (and everyone in between), this is a PSA from Cards against humanity.
They need our help. Please respond.
Let's all build this thing. Boost if you agree.
And finally, a couple of triple-cats. The latter is them all napping on me and me absolutely giving up on getting up for what ended up being about two hours!

RT: @carolecadwalla I think this has probably shocked me more than anything else.
The Times ran multiple ads trashing Jason Arday. This one reached 195,746 people & ran until Aug 16 - today.
There’s a rearguard action to defend journalism. But this isn’t journalism. It’s monetised racebait.

In the final months of his life, Jason Arday was subject to a relentless onslaught of attacks and abuse.
Jason was a human being with friends and family - but he was turned into a pawn for vicious culture wars by a cruel media industry motivated by racism and clicks.
The lessons are never learned. When will the British media face accountability for its behaviour?
Jason was much loved by those around him. May he rest in peace.
Dammit, I love the people here. You might think you don't make a real difference in the real lives of other people, but I'm here to tell you that you do. For many of us, it's the one thing we get to do instead of have to do.
I'm off in two days time, and I am trying to make the most of things
