Last minute travel for training
FAA employee here, ATSS 2101. On Thursday I got a call from my manager saying I finally got approved to go for my ERAM training scheduled to start on the 12th of August, running up until September 17th. Got my flight and car booked up and ready to go, but I have spent roughly 16 hours trying to find a place that is under the per diem (with the 60% reduced rate), has at least a small kitchen (enough to fulfill the PASS requirements), and is available on short notice.Anybody know any hotel chain recommendations? It came up so last minute, and my manager and travel managers were out of office on Friday and today, so there was limited help I could get.
