We can only hope.

@nuintari Your take on this? https://mk.absturztau.be/notes/at4sa7c6q3cl01sa

And yes, I promised to stop posting about politics and go back to posting about tech and general shitposting. I swear.

Everyone, remember to call your newly elected Democratic lawmaker and remind them that we are not interested in either Hakeem Jeffries or Chuck Schumer as the head of their party anymore. Thank you very much for your attention to this matter.

Disappointed that I’ve turned into one of those “don’t slack now because every victory is vulnerable” people but be patient. This is trauma-motivated hypervigilance. I speak through a thick layer of painful accumulated experience.

Somewhere between the official checklist and your own notes file is the way you actually work. 📝

The frameworks gave you structure. Years of engagements filled in everything they left out. Which one left the biggest mark?

Looks like Ohio went all blue, Texas went all blue ... *pokes states out west*

Looks like we again have a democratic governor in Ohio. Honestly Dewine was a good governor (term limited out) but folks like him have been forcefully escorted out of the GOP these days.

Four fifths of the available voters in the Sempf Compound have now voted. One left.

See, the issue is here that my brain desperately wants a catharsis with voting. Okay, the elections are over. I voted. Everyone's voted. It's over. Yay. But in reality, I recognize the fact that this is barely the beginning because there's going to be weeks of lawsuits, and then in January, are they even going to bother to swear these people in?

On top of that, as absolutely shitty as Trump has been, can you imagine how much fuckatuidness is going to be involved with living in this country with a lame-duck president without any of his normal yes men in power positions?

Okay, it's a stupid-looking harvest, but it's still a harvest. #gardening

My bountiful fall carrot harvest did not work out exactly as expected. #gardening
