Since this is a no expenses spared drama, I can only assume the dude getting his cheeks squished is some kind of big shot (the guy photobombing in the background certainly is). Imagine being a young actor told to fobble around the face of One Of The Big Ones. While direct contact is part of every actor's training... I mean _I'd_ be nervous, even if I was a star in my own right.
