My awesome friend JoeTheDough used to run a little site called "Sexy A Levels" or something that was satirically highlighting the media's tendency to illustrate A-Level result stories with girls, rather than boys. He took it down in the end because it wasn't possible to make the satire obvious enough and he worried it was indistinguishable from a perv magnet.

I think about him, and that, every august when the BBC and newspapers are full of stuff like this:

    Three girls above a headline:
A record number of 18-year-olds - including triplets Scarlett, Tabby and
Grace - got into their first choice university after passing their A-Levels, T-
Levels and BTecs.
4 girls above a headline of:
A record number of 18-year-olds have been finding out they have secured
a place at their first choice of university this morning as A-Level, T-Level
and BTec results are released.
Two girls below a headline of:

'l felt a bit sick this morning, but the hard work
has paid off’

@acf I guess it's just too hot for pictures of them mid-air after jumping for joy at their exam results?
