Unlike Fetterman, Kirk actually did his job. He was wheelchair bound, had to relearn some things (like how to walk), and served his full term without appearing to shirk the responsibilities of the office.

He also moderated his stance on Medicare. As a mod Republican he wasn't *totally* terrible.

Compared to Fetterman Kirk is a straight up DSA member.

I was on a town hall call with a CA Dem member on the House Oversight Committee and I kept asking in the chat, What *specifically* are you all *doing* to hold the line?

This call was also hosted by my professional association here in CA which is supposed to fight tooth and nail to protect our interests. (This is what our membership pays for.) I applied for an open spot on their Public Policy committee back in 2017 and I remember saying that this association had better learn how to go up against fascists and they needed folks with guts on their com'tee. I was politely declined.
