I've just finished War Diaries: A Radio Amateur in Kyiv.
It was alright. I read Diary of an Iraqi Girl right before hand, and the contrast between the two books could hardly be greater. There is a very significant difference in the amount of agency available to both authors.
I was surprised that ham radio was banned at the beginning of the conflict. And very surprised by the insecure orc comms.
Anyhow, fuck war. Fuck Russia. Fuck the USA.
