Cardiologists have agreed the first truly global definition of a heart attack. The European Society of Cardiology, American College and Heart Association, and World Heart Federation jointly recognised three under-diagnosed heart attack types that disproportionately hit women, including spontaneous coronary artery dissection, which strikes mostly during or after pregnancy.
