    I saw someone say they were going to do 1000 pushups in a month and that sounds bleh but I wonder if I can do 1000 pullups in a month??

    @nirak I've done similar challenges. It's doable! Break it into smaller chunks -- maybe 3-5 at a time. It's somewhat easier if you permit different grips (wide, narrow, underhand, ...) to help spread the load across more muscles. It's much easier if you work from home and you can knock out a chunk every hour throughout the day.

    @nirak By the way, when I say "it's doable", I'm speaking as a dude with very little natural upper body strength. It took me a good long while to even be able to do a single pull-up, and longer still to do multiple in a row. (I got a huge boost from negatives in my training.) IIRC I eventually maxed at 15 consecutive. Don't ask how many I can do now; it's ... fewer than that.

    @mrwilson I've done 15 so far today! Groups of 5 are fairly easy. I think the hardest part is keeping it up
