I’m the kind of person who thinks fusion power is coming later rather than sooner to begin with, but I’m loving how much /r/fusion has been raking Sam Altman darling Helion over the coals lately.

Helion signed a contract with Microsoft for a working 50MW power plant by 2028. However, it’s unclear if Helion’s unusual design is workable whatsoever.
