The Republican is Jim Desmond, who is running to represent San Diego. I'm sure Republicans in San Diego are reassured by his tepid pushback on Trump's suggestion of letting Iran destroy their city.

I know a lot of people hate Snopes -- in fact, I find it interesting that so many people hate Snopes. But I just found an article there that traces the origin of the term "sexual harassment" to the Cornell Univ. human affairs office in 1975.
Quite surprising, to me at least, that this term originated only 50 years ago.

We need massive turnout of Democratic voters on November 3. We all have to work to make it happen. Door knocking, postcards, phone calls. In my case it's handwritten letters to unlikely voters, 1220 going in the mail tomorrow, and if I stay on pace another 100 or so before October 24.
