the low-profile terrace shoes, like the samba, gazelle, palermo and speedcat
the big leather sneaker with rubber cupsoles, your af1s, dunks low tops and stan smiths
the big high top basketball shoes, like the forum and aj1 high
the technical runner, like the gel-kayano, air maxes, essentially everything new balance ever made
the skate shoe, like the DC Shoes stuff (rip), Dunk SB, Osiris
and the minimalist sock/bootie runner, which is on a down trend. the nike presto and the yeezy 350 come to mind
