    I commend you on your intention to provide a pathway to others. I do not wish to discourage you from that as a criterion so much as to urge a shift towards prioritizing helping yourself sooner. You are already carrying so much.

    I must take care of myself to care for others.

    If I was fleeing urgently, I'd have different considerations. But I'm a straight white guy, they'll come for me when they're done with others.
