Best fren says hi #FridayFeline

I'm sorry why am I now forced to look at the Mastodon menu in what used to be the advanced UI where you could summon it from the hamburger if desired - and if I resize my desktop window to where I used to just be able to see Home, Notifications, and List, the fucking menu now slides over and covers up the Home content. And questionable Follow requests I'm ignoring now take up space at the top of Notifications. This #UI is #ShitUI put it back. #Mastodon5 #Mastodon @Gargron

Hello again old friend #Astronomy #Orion #Astrophotography

"Well we've gotten rid of the Cathars and Waldensians, we should look for some new work."
"What if we just made up some crazy nonsense to expand our power and create a new enemy?"
"A terrifying, apocalyptic enemy striking at the root of Christendom, yes, what should we call these terror causers?"

Must be the season of the witch.

Today, No Kings content was banned on Meta. TikTok banned the film about Elon Musk. Take this to your friends still drinking at the Nazi bars and tell them to get their shit together.

Make sure to sign @OpenMediaOrg's petition(s) to remove the #Carney govt's most reprehensible attacks on your digital privacy and that extension of your mind you carry around in your hand so your thoughts can't be rummaged around in by the cops on a whim. Time is almost up. https://action.openmedia.org/page/196118/petition/1 #OpenMedia #C22 #Privacy #CDNPoli

Free the boobies activism, and nice recognition of Gwen Jacobs fighting for this in 1996 https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswick/sj-police-apologize-after-woman-told-to-cover-up-9.7329552 #HumanRights #CDNPoli

So I explained upon her asking what the difference was between a GenAI datacentre vs a general compute and storage datacentre that might be useful for data sovereignty in case that might be a useful thing for her to know.

Julie Dzerowicz dropped by today and I told her I liked Carney's spine but not their environmental or militarization portfolios and asked her to tell Evan Solomon to fuck all the way off, from me personally #Toronto #CDNPoli

Does anyone know of vulnerabilities in the Alfred DB1-A "Smart Lock"? Asking for the residents of a prominent group of residential towers in the West End here that don't want them forced onto them by the corporate owner of the buildings, which is hell bent on installing them AND making the residents pay for them. #SmartLock #Vulnerability #Bluetooth #Hacking #SmartHome #LockPicking

Thanks for the clarification? #SignsWithStories

Please tell me this is just a coincidence. #Toronto #Condos

The code bases are extended gutters and the gutters are full of slop and when the drains finally scab over, all the quislings will drown. The accumulated tech debt of all their LLMs will foam up about their waists and all the vibe coders and tech bros will look up and shout 'SAVE US!' ...and I'll look down and whisper 'No'.
