Also fuck NYC DOT, too, for leaving dangerous streets like this.

(I don't recommend watching the video. I literally gasped.)

[For context, screen time was over]

14yo: "So earlier I was [on screens &] drawing, and Dad made me go out to the store..."

my wife: "Uh-huh."

14yo: "and I didn't finish my drawing"

me: 🙄

14yo: "...so do you see what I'm getting at?"

*awkward pause*

14yo: "I'm pregnant."

wife: 👀

14yo: "I also have herpes!"

wife: "Being pregnant and herpes are two things I was VERY prepared for!"

me: 😂
14yo: "WHAT"

wife: "Sexual reproductive health is my specialty!"

#epimom #epidemiologist

14yo: "don't you toot that"

Me: "oh I am absolutely tooting that"

14yo: "that wasn't the only thing I drew today!"

Me: "how did you forget to eat lunch??"

14yo: "I was busy, okay?"

Me: "busy with WHAT?"

14yo: "stuff!"

Me: "schoolin's? learnin' the maths? What was it? Getting an education?"

14yo: "stop"

Me: "was it read'n and writing?"

14yo: "IT WAS DRAWING"

Me: "drawing what?"

14yo: "DRAWING RADISHES WITH SEXY LEGS, OKAY??"

Ohhh I get it. Truck (wire) nuts. Electrician humor.

It's weird seeing distribution packagers get shoutouts in mainstream media outlets. Mostly, we're just ignored. I'm glad to see this article.

This AI-generated song/video about how shitty AI is made me laugh. I can appreciate the irony. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3TNpOD6bov8

lol, okay, guess I'll check those build logs tomorrow!

I parked my Yuba Kombi next to another one at the grocery store. I had to take a picture because it was so amusing.

Mine, made up of Frankensteined parts on base model ($900 when I bought it). Theirs, the fancy e-assist model that starts at $2400. They've got 2 of the seat pads, monkey bars, bread basket (front rack), official shimano motor/battery. I've got one seat pad, a ring, a diy mid-drive motor (bafang bbs02) with random battery, and a piece of wood as my front rack. #BikeTooter

Once I tell the kids that screen time is over, the cats guard the electronics and video games with unimaginable ferocity.

Okay, I don't know anything about this lady, but this bio is incredibly embarrassing.

Is your prompt certification from one the accredited universities? Wow, Fox News AND Bari Weiss's CBS News? *impressed whistle*

"What's the secret ingredient?", the reporter asks her as she holds her 1st place trophy. "I'll never tell", she responds with a knowing smile.

[my wife points to half a bagel with cream cheese that she'd made for the kids' breakfast on the cutting board]

her: "This is an untouched bagel [if you want to eat it]."

*pause*

her: "...Possibly a cat has licked it.. but it's otherwise untouched."

To be fair, there *is* a case to be made for firing squads. For the Nazis.
