The insurrectionists planned on hanging Pence in front of his wife and child.

The one thing I have wondered about Jan 6 is how did the GOP congresspersons imagine the mob was going to know who was GOP and who was Dem/Ind?
Or, were the GOP all wearing their NRA pins by then?
Still, that's a slim margin between safe and harm's way.
