Jordan is already taking care of a million Palestinians who were forced out, and they’re not as wealthy a country as people seem to think. Egypt? Different cultures, and they’re broke. Lebanon? Already dealing with Israel murdering its people without retribution, and broke. Iran? Naw. Saudi and UAE? They won’t work with Israel, and radically different culture. So, what fucking Arabs does he mean?

The Palestinians, like Jordanians, have a very liberal culture, for a given value of liberal. The theocrats of the monied Arabs do not want a country where all religions are acceptable and you can have wine with dinner.

Not My Type by E Jean Carroll was definitely a five star read for me. She is whip-smart, funny, and hey- like she'll tell you, she's fabulous! The majority of the book is spent going over the first trial- chapter 40 (the last and longest chapter) goes over the second trial. A woman standing up for herself against the most powerful man in the US is someone to be proud of. Her bravery is admirable.
