Driver co-installers are a mistake, and Microsoft should remove this functionality instead of just asking a hardware vendor to remove a problematic bundled software. To disable them, set HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Device Installer\ DisableCoInstallers = 1 (DWORD)
