Ballots are arriving! #Colorado voters should check out this thread for recommendations, articles and resources for our lengthy list of ballot initiatives

Plain language sounds good, but there's more to Amendment 85 than appears on the surface. Rather than good government, this measure pours sand into the gearbox, fuels litigation and "dumbs down" the information voters get, potentially masking complexity and consequences. Vote NO on 85

Amendment 87 is the most significant issue on the Colorado ballot this year, and I strongly support it.
Good policy, good revenues, good results.

I'm not about to vote in favor of inviting more ICE involvement in our state - ICE Out! Vote NO on 81

Colorado already has a strong and fair process for Redistricting, one we reformed in 2018. Amendment 86 is part of national movement to unfairly rig the redistricting process for partisan gains. Vote NO

while perhaps not the most offensive proposal on this year's ballot, Amendment 82 has to be one of stupidest ballot measures ever! Please don't confer constitutional rights on fossil fuels - please vote NO on 82

the Colorado Sun has been running a series of articles on the various ballot issues - I'm going to drop links to those stories here, making it even easier to be an informed voter!

as a reminder:
voting YES favors a change in state law or the Colorado Constitution, while voting NO rejects the proposed changes and preserves the status quo.
Measures with numbers (almost all of them this year) were initiated by citizen petition, while Prop NN was referred by the state legislature. Question 7A comes from the Front Range Passenger Rail District and only voters in that Front Range district will see this question on their ballot.

attention #Colorado voters:
I've been producing a handy voter guide for Colorado ballot issues for many years now. Here's the 2026 edition:
Amendment 81 - NO
Amendment 82 - NO
Amendment 83 - NO
Amendment 84 - NO
Amendment 85 - NO
Amendment 86 - NO
Amendment 87 - YES
Proposition NN - YES
Prop 132 - NO
Prop 133 - NO
Prop 134 - NO
Prop 135 - NO
Prop 136 - NO
Prop 137 - NO
Question 7A - YES
as I've been saying, lots of crap to vote NO against - I'm happy to elaborate on any of these issues, so many bad ideas...

I was already opposed to Amendment 86; now I am vehemently opposed.
#Colorado Vote NO on 86

military fighter plane flyer-overs are super gross. Why is this a thing at sporting events?

burning fuel is not a sport

the #Colorado Secretary of State certified the list of statewide ballot issues for the November 2026 general election, and it's a doozy! Lots of crap to vote NO against, while Amendment 87 is one I strongly support. Blue Books will be mailed soon!

say what you will about the results of Colorado's primary election yesterday, but one thing that is clear is that "groups with unclear funding sources and motives" did not fare very well this cycle. Good.
