@nat Most of what they can do is accountability, and it’s important. First because it’s one of the main things people voted for (based on polling), and second to make sure future presidents don’t think they can get away with such blatant corruption.

There’s no major legislation Congress can pass in the next two years. What they need to do is prosecute the criminals and hold those accountable who’ve done wrong or hurt people.

@collin Yeah I mean, my new Senator is Penny Flanagan and I want her to subpoena every single ICE agent, ideally somewhat at random so they *all* have to come down to D.C. and wait to get called up.

But what I want even more than personal consequences for individuals is a clear and thorough accounting of what happened.

I think in general US voters are willing to ignore a lot of what the admin is doing if it’s not concrete but they hate it if they do hear about or especially see pictures of it.

@collin I think the most important thing we did in Minnesota was feed people and take their kids to school

And I guess if I’m counting the second most important thing was show up em masse outdoors in the cold and show Minnesota immigrants that all these nice white Lutheran church ladies etc. really do want immigrants here

But probably third was all the pictures and videos of the admin going door to door and grabbing people and harassing them in parking lots and shooting people
