    Raphael Warnock was exactly right.

Democrats must never again listen to neoliberal fake savants who pretend to have expertise when in fact, they know little about political science or even causation.

A savvy party never voluntarily tries to become a regional party.

A social media post from an X.com user with the display name Burgess Everett and the username @burgessev:

Sen. Raphael Warnock told donors in April that Democrats are "sleeping" on Mississippi to some laughs, per recordings of event. His argument to invest in the race was that Democrats' "ceiling is too low ... our ceiling is 52. That's terrible. Part of the way to fix that is the South."

"I think we can win in Mississippi if the conditions are just right."

Ohio State University political scientist Tom Wood produced a fascinating chart that lays out the scope of the problem Americans face.

US politics has been stalled because the Democratic Party will not make the massive changes that Americans want. They keep electing Democrats to make things better and then get dispirited when Democrats don't communicate the good things they did or what Republicans did to block good things.

The cycle must be broken by big action and massive media expenditures.

A graphic of 3 very detailed images depicting dozens of demographic groups' partisan swings in 3 separate elections: 2020->2022, 2022-2024, and 2024->2026.

The charts indicate that almost all demographic groups swung to Republicans in 2022, were split in 2024, and then swung to Democrats in 2026 by even larger amounts.

@mattsheffield yes. And this is why it’s important for us to stay true to our principles. So what if someone calls you extremist? They will always do that. They’re the extreme ones. We must assiduously avoid activating the framing of our enemies. That means don’t define yourself in their terms.
