  @abucci Wasn't my intention, but I can see how it came across that way. (I really hate how LLMs and the arseholes around them have stolen so much from us, including being able to say "you're trying to use a screwdriver like it's a wrench" as a legitimate tip...)

  I think dyson in particular are more crap and marketing than anything else, (every one of their products I've had the opportunity to use was crap) but the "airblade" concept appears to have come almost fully-formed from the industrial world, name and all: "air knives" for keeping water spray off of windows without a mechanical wiper. So my "suggested usage" comes from how those are used, with the airstream almost parallel to the surface. (But as usual, dyson's implementation of it is absolute crap)

  @becomethewaifu@tech.lgbt Sorry that I was critical right out of the gate, but it kinda cracked me up to see "you're using it wrong" after someone's rant about a hand dryer. We don't know each other and there's no way you could have known my sense of humor, so I'm sorry about that.
  
  For what it's worth I've never had any trouble drying my hands with one of those Dyson things. On the other hand, I wish there were literally any other way.
