I had an incredibly lovely, tasty, fun, relaxing day with my partner and kids. I'm really grateful.
Tomorrow is a holiday here but I have a bazillion very stressful things I need to work on writing, so I should probably mostly do that. It's also supposed to snow (I've seen predictions from 2-10cm...)
Please enjoy these goats who somehow ended up like this.
Oct 12, 2026, 3:20 AM@sundogplanets the grey goat doesn’t look so much draped over the brown goat, but transecting, as if the two goats are, in SciFi parlance, out-of-phase. The multiverse is proven!
@jadp quantum goat dynamics is quite a trip!
Oct 12, 2026, 3:22 AM@sundogplanets it explains a lot
@sundogplanets @jadp Yes, “quantum goat entanglement” was my immediate thought.
Oct 12, 2026, 3:20 AM@sundogplanets Seems like a very goat thing to do. :blobcatlaugh:
@sundogplanets You are NOT allowed to use the 4 letter word that begins with S and ends with NOW until late november.
You can say "crystalized rain" though :-)
Looking at the grey special buleltin, it seems to blame the 5-10 cm of <redacted> on being near the Trans Canada highway. Therefore, you should blame Ottawa for that 5-10cm of <redacted> since they are responsible for the Trans Canada highway :-)
Oct 12, 2026, 3:25 AM@sundogplanets I came for the science, but really look forward to the goats most of all!
@sundogplanets I tried to work out the geometry of the Tardis the other day, and there are some interesting ways the door can go wrong. I think they've had an encounter with a malfunctioning tardis.
Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy your day! 🙏🏼💫
@sundogplanets
goats crossed 🤞
@sundogplanets is goat weaving what Sask people do in fall and winter?
@sundogplanets
Goat triangulation theory is a pretty under-studied branch of geometry, let alone physics.
are these critters the kids???
@sundogplanets goats bein silly lol 🐐
@sundogplanets My hens do that if they all want to lay in the same nest at the same time. 😆
@sundogplanets ok so who in the family is on goat untangling duty today?
@sundogplanets Goat composite.
