@raphaelmorgan This! Thank you! I am the only blind person that is speaking out against this so thank you. The more important thing is that the blind community at large unquestioningly loves LLMs, AI, AI technology, and otherwise even if it violates others privacy. The common rebuke I hear from the blind individuals on here is, so why is the focus on the glasses and not on privacy itself or on mobile phones that can record you without your knowledge? Or on surveillance as a whole. They believe the anti-AI backlash is a form of ableism They say it is an anti technology backlash that’s not rooted in logic, but they are not paying attention to the mainstream concerns about privacy at large, about the truckloads of data that is a new kind of currency now.. I am sure you saw OpenAI press release using disabled individuals to market their plagiarism machines. I cannot stand mainstream AI coverage. None of the outlets even come close to talking about legitimate concerns
