This year's Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded to former UN Human Rights chief & International Court of Justice judge Navi Pilla (from South Africa).

Given she headed up the independent commission on the occupied territories of Palestine (concluding that Israel was conducting a genocide), you'll be unsurprised to know the Israeli Govt. is (shall we say) unimpressed.

Human Rights activists & supporters of the Palestinian cause have welcomed the award.
