Don’t believe me when I say “Engineering is art”?

Have you ever looked at a design and thought “That is not just functional, that’s *elegant*”.

*That* is what I mean. Engineering is art. Any idiot can knock together bits of wood so someone can sit on it, but a nice looking chair? That’s art. Same with software. Software can be beautiful, functional and easy to work with.
