🧠 NEW: Two people with #paralysis used a single #brain implant to control a virtual avatar’s #speech and #gestures at once.

The device, 253 electrodes resting on the sensorimotor cortex, decoded attempted phrases and movements in real time, mapping them to a personalized onscreen figure. Accuracy reached 85% for gestures and 75% for phrases, with one participant at 100%.
