I hate the phrase "unresolved trauma".

I did not survive wrong. I don't need to clean myself up for you. What you call scars are just how I am. That's how I healed and grew after the injury. "But they cause you pain?" No. This society causes me pain.

Treat me with respect. Provide meaningful support. Accept my difference.

Don't ever tell me I need to work on hurting less when you walk over me.
