Step one, remove the very low tolls that fund the non for profit bridge commission.
Step two, pretend to be shocked that bridges cost money to repair and replace (that they were totally and completely aware of).
Step three, float privatization as an alternative because we "have no money".
This f*cking timeline is so infuriating.

@avilewis The most frustrating part of all of this is that we knew about this YEARS AGO.
The HHB could have done this just like it had done with the MacDonald and Mackay bridges - with bonds/loans (Mackay was done badly btw).
Why we're adding private ownership and profit into the mix is just stupid, costs will go up.
