Designing a solar pergola to build over the top of @dusepo 's workshop, for the dual function of shading her workshop in the summer and also providing a huge flat south-facing flat surface to mount a bunch of solar panels.
Really the only hard part is calculating the gust uplift potential from effectively building a giant wooden sail (albeit horizontal rather than vertical), and how much anchoring is required to resist it (and then the convex upward pressure on the rest of the structure as a result).
I suspect if we bore a 1m deep hole and sink some stainless steel anchors then the part most likely to fail will be the wood above ground when subject to enough dynamic load, which is an acceptable risk and easily mitigated with collaring.
