    @cferdinandi *How* managed? I've had a good experience on Pikapods, but the level of "managed" is less comprehensive.

    They update WP automatically, but don’t include backups by default, for example. (Auto daily backup via S3 is available though)

    @cferdinandi PikaPods is low effort, a few clicks and you’re done, they auto update WP, etc.

    If you can provide them a backup solution they’re comfortable with it’s extremely low cost for the performance on offer

    I have a WooComm client running on it, backups to Backblaze, plus BunnyCDN and the whole setup is < $10/mo

    @cferdinandi Kinsta is what we use at my latest job and it’s been solid. I would recommend using their automatic update testing tool, which is a paid add-on.

    Pantheon was recommendable a few years ago, but I heard the support has been massively enshittified with AI.
