I'm so tired of making unhoused friends and having them tell me they feel embarrassed about it.
Our system failed you. "The greatest country on earth" let this happen to you. That's the embarrassment.

@cferdinandi the older I get the more I understand that homelessness is a policy choice we have collectively made to punish the unlucky. There is no good reason for us to allow this to exist other than our society's collective callousness 😔
