    I'm not sure how it became incumbent upon me to accept and adapt to my colleagues use of LLMs instead of how we usually react to people taking shortcuts and hilariously self owning themselves while trying to get ahead at the expense of everyone else around them.

    @jonny seems like a continuation of the same impulse. They're *still* trying not to do any work and get *you* to deal with the fallout.

    Converting costs into externalities has always been capital's jam, but we finally got good at doing it interpersonally

    @jonny "LLMs make things so much faster for me, I don't know what you're doing wrong. (I put some slop together in 5 minutes and hand it over to you to actually do the work)"

    @jonny

    We hear a lot about how "LLMs made me a 10x engineer" or something but never a single word about "LLMs made my coworker a 10x engineer"

    @jonny the current environment, at least my little slice of it, favors the psychopaths who shift the greatest amount of accountability onto others
