Though I read e-books more often than paper books at this point, I would definitely miss paper books as an option.
I suppose the value of paper books already in existence would skyrocket, and people who had never had any interest in books would suddenly need to have them.
I would also imagine a lot of backlash, and depending on the reason for the stop in production, there again could be people who would otherwise have no interest in books suddenly taking an outsized interest.
If either or both of the above happened, it might override my personal nostalgia.
