    @lordsplodge very happy with it, runtime of around 4 weeks for me, even more when I'm outside a lot (well working solar). My second Garmin watch already, replaced the previous Instinct model late last year after the battery started to die (~3+ years)

    @foosel Four weeks. Bit different from my nightly Apple Watch charge. Does it mostly work independently of the phone? (Most uses of my current watch is selected notifications but mostly workouts and fitness tracking. Hiking and cycling mostly)

    @lordsplodge tracking works independently, tested it mostly while e-biking. Synced up when reconnected then. What's nice for me is that it also allowed me to track my bouldering sessions incl logging route difficulties.

    @foosel I've been on the lookout for a new watch. My Samsung won't work with my de-googled new phone, and it looks like the Garmin is supported by Gadgetbridge. I like the solar option as well. 👍
