Labeling was also one of the best practices we (at @ab) recommended to W3C for application in the standards process https://www.w3.org/TR/llms-standards/#combining-accountability-with-best-practices

“Not all AI-generated or manipulated content needs to be labelled. The disclosure requirement under the AI Act covers only AI-generated or manipulated content.”
